Explore the Music

Sung in Jewish communities worldwide, Deborah’s original music weaves traditional texts with contemporary creativity and participatory potential.

Songs from the Beit Midrash

Rising Song Records, 2026

Deborah’s third album, Songs from the Beit Midrash transforms Hadar's yeshiva into a recording studio full to the brim with new music—inspired by the Torah explored, relationships built, and spiritual depth uncovered within its walls. Combining lush strings, electric instrumentals, power harmonies, and the musicality of spontaneous communal song, the sonic palate invites the listener into a soundscape of prayerful intention and artistic expression.

Yetzira

Rising Song Records, 2023

Deborah’s second album Yetzira dances and journeys through themes of wonder and blessing, rest and redemption, yearning and sorrow, integration and compassion, memory and renewal. And in the middle of this collection of diverse and evocative texts - one wordless nigun - the untethered notes of a melody, soaring unhindered by the limitations of words.

The Narrow and the Expanse

Rising Song Records, 2020

Deborah’s debut spiritual album, The Narrow and the Expanse brings together musical moments of introspection and elation, joy and brokenness. These songs employ both traditional texts and the meditative practice of the nigun—the wordless melody—to search for access to that which we may struggle to seek.

Miriam Haneviah

Rising Song Records, 2022

Through her original melody for liturgist Rabbi Leila Gal Berner's beautiful poetic midrash, Deborah offers a single track of lush harmonies - a team of women’s voices representing generations of women past, present, and future in prayer and song.
